Vincent Gagnon is a Gaspé pianist and composer based in Quebec City, and one of the best-known jazz musicians in the region. Mr. Gagnon has performed in hundreds of concerts with Quebec and international artists, and recorded with artists like Keith Kouna, Hubert Lenoir, Emilie Clepper and Jennifer Tremblay. This busy musician has also found time to release three albums as the leader of his own jazz ensemble: Himalaya (2012), Tome III - Errances (2014) and Bleu Cendre (2009), which was described by CBC’s Stanley Péan as "The revelation of the 2009 Quebec Jazz Festival.” Mr. Gagnon won the Prix Étoiles-Galaxie Jazz de Montréal in 2009, was nominated twice for Best Jazz Album at the Opus Festival’s Prix de Radio-Canada, and was finalist for the Félix Arranger of the Year. in 2014.
